Coming home from a late cinema night, I noticed the moon was in a good position to be photographed from outside our house, and at that time of night, I didn’t run much risk being run over by traffic in our street. This photo was taken with an old Sigma 400mm lens, upscaled to 800mm with a 2x converter, then adapted from a Canon FD mount to my Sony α6000. Focussing and exposure was manual, and after about three shots, the clouds obscured the moon completely, so I didn’t have a chance to adjust the settings any more. Next time perhaps…
